Speechagain is a cloud-based digital stutter therapy that treats stutterers with artificial intelligence and speech recognition analysis based on the highest scientific standards of the S3 guidelines. The therapy’s scientific foundation was established by Dr. Alexander Wolff von Gudenberg with his hybrid therapy at the Kasseler Stottertherapie institute. Since its founding in 1996 the precursors of Speechagain as part of the Kasseler Stottertherapie could successfully treat more than 3,000 stutterers. The long-term success rate amounts to more than 75% and thereby Kassel earned its reputation as Europe’s leading institute for stutter therapy.

Speechagain was developed together with Dr. Wolff von Gudenberg and his team as well as the Berlin-based company builder Digital Health Factory around Dr. med. Hartwig Jaeger and Dr. med Peter Langkafel. The Digital Health Factory founds and identifies medically advisable and technically feasible innovations focusing on the digitization of the healthcare industry. “I am very proud that we have won the Best Pitch Award in New York City and I am looking forward to our US market entry in 2018. With Speechagain we can help many more people who stutter and train them individually with our speech recognition software”, as Head of Product Johanna Joch points out.
