Speechagain Secures New Funding

New York

Speechagain, a digital-based stuttering tool, announces the close of the Series A round of funding from private investors. An international investor group from the United States, Germany, and Switzerland has now joined the Speechagain community.

The investments will be used to continue the development of the Speechagain product, as well as expand the company. Speechagain is updating and implementing new features to their program, as well as continuing to expand their use of artificial intelligence and voice recognition in relation to speech training. Speechagain is securing the opportunity of combining speech therapy with technology, an extension of the speech-language-hearing field that is currently under-developed.

“As the rest of the world and medical field move towards technologybased tools and solutions, the speech-language-hearing world is at a standstill. We plan to merge the speech world with the technology work, providing modern and evidence-based scientific feedback to clients while working along with speech-language pathologists” – Mallory Stempfley, Speechagain Speech-Language Pathologist.

Speechagain’s mission is to create a new wave of therapy tools, specifically for people who stutter, which is motivating, personalized, and effective.

“We are so excited to be moving forward with a program that not only empowers individuals but also provides them with the tools they need for more fluent speech. Speechagain provides a supportive atmosphere for clients and SLPs to work together and meet in the middle for the most effective speech training possible” shared Johanna Joch, Speechagain’s General Manager.
